Putney is a quiet, quaint village, and Carolyn knows the town and surrounding area well. She can offer suggestions for places to visit, too. The Copper Kettle itself felt cozy, with a comfortable bed, a fridge and TV in the room, and a very nice bathroom with counter space and a medicine cabinet. Carolyn runs the B&B professionally while staying warm and interesting without being intrusive. During our nine-night stay, she checked each day what we'd like for breakfast the next morning and was happy to prepare healthy meals. She was accommodating throughout.

We had such a good stay at The Copper Kettle that we'd come back. Carolyn was gracious and easy to accommodate us, and the place has that classic Vermont charm.

A friendly, helpful proprietor, plus a great dog. The room had a TV and fridge, pretty much all most people need. Convenient for Putney School, too.
