Basecamp Puyallup a Travelodge by Wyndham

I apparently had a transaction here on September 23rd 2025, but the staff were extremely rude when I tried to understand it. They sent me around in circles, telling me to call Wyndham Complaints, whose phone system kept looping me back to the same establishment I had contacted at the start. If I made a booking, I never got a receipt or written terms and conditions. They said it was purchased through a third party application, yet my bank statement clearly says Basecamp Puyallup. It feels like they fraudulently took my money, and I’ve disputed the charge through my bank. If I don’t get a refund soon, I’ll contact the Better Business Bureau and eventually seek legal advice. Do not stay here!

Room 123 was spotless, with clean bedding, no bugs or ants, no mold, and air quality that seemed good to me. I’m pretty picky about hotels, but after three days I really can’t find anything bad to say. I arrived from work around 2am, and the woman at the front desk was kind and helpful. I never saw the man people have been speaking badly about lately, and the guy I ran into at checkout was nice too. It was quiet outside, and I slept peacefully for all three days while I was sick. I felt well looked after from check-in to leaving. Great job, Basecamp puyallup. I’m a happy customer and will definitely come back.

The online photos don't really show what the property looks like, and the parking lot is dark. It was $100 a night after tax, plus a $106 deposit I hadn't been told about. There are no amenities, no safety rails in the tub, and no soundproofing. Being beside a freeway and busy street meant lots of noise and sirens.

The bed was comfortable, the price was excellent, and there was nice artwork on the wall. We also had a TV with loads of programming, a pod coffee maker, and a small fridge. Inside, the rooms have been remodeled and were clean, with lovely all-white bedding and a clean bathroom. The stairway and exterior looked pretty beat up, though. Being so close to a busy street was convenient, but it also made things noisy.
