The room was in bad shape and hadn’t been prepared properly. There was a half-smoked Black and Mild under the bed, an ironing board but no iron, and the light above the sink didn’t work, so I couldn’t see while brushing my teeth. The shower was filthy and smelled a little. The only thing in its favor was the price, and even then this should be a last resort. Management was awful. The manager was cantankerous and rude, bossy for no clear reason, and communicated poorly. I waited 25 minutes in the lobby while he checked in a customer paying cash. The whole process was painful. This was the most poorly run hotel I’ve stayed in.

Getting someone’s attention at check-in was a mess. The front desk person didn’t notice us at the window for five minutes, then looked up and went back to the computer. I had to say, “Excuse me, can we check in?” before he acknowledged us. Checking out was just as bad: no one was at the desk, and after calling out “Excuse me, hello” for about five minutes, I left the keys on the hotel desk and went. The room was filthy. There was hair in the tub, sink, on the pillows, and in the bed. The comforters and mattress pads had burn holes, the rug looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed for months, and someone else’s toenails were still in the carpet. Fries were in the AC unit, and the walls and doorways were stained. The toilet looked recently used, and its seat was nearly broken off. We bought our own cleaning supplies and cleaned top to bottom, but it still wasn’t in good shape. I’ll never come back, and I’d like the hotel manager to contact me.

The covers had food crusted onto them, there was no microwave in my room, and the lobby microwave didn’t even warm my food. The bathroom ceiling was falling apart and stained, and there was some kind of stuff on the shower curtain. This place is filthy and feels like a hole in the wall. I wouldn’t recommend anyone stay here.

We checked in at 7:30 and were out by 1 a.m. After my girlfriend was bitten up during the few hours we were there, I tried to get our money back. They said we could only get less than half because of how long we’d spent in the room. There were definitely bed bugs or something. They had already switched us from the first room because its toilet and shower were dirty. The desk guy warned that the next room might be dirty too, then took me to look at another one. There was hair all over the bathroom, toilet, and bed. I ended up sleeping in my car and checking into another motel. I’d rather pay more than try to save money by staying there.
