The owner was friendly when I called, and told us to come by for the night when I asked about a room. We were lucky she had space, since the chain hotels were full for a soccer tournament. It was just $79, which felt very fair, and the place was quiet and felt safe. We didn't hear traffic or anyone pulling up beside us. The building looks old, maybe from the 1950s or 60s, but the room was one of the cleanest we've had in the five days since leaving home. The bed was comfortable and the shower got nice and hot. The owner also pointed us to Buckshot Bar and Grill, where the food was great and the staff were really friendly. Glad this worked out for us.

Whenever work brings me into town, I book here. I've stayed several times and it has never let me down. It's clean, usually easy to get a room, and quiet enough that I sleep like a baby. The woman at the office is always so nice and polite. I'd recommend it to anyone who asks, and I'll keep staying here when I'm passing through or back in town.

We picked this older motel because of where it is, so we'd be set to drive across the Bighorns. The price helped too. We didn't want to spend $250 a night in Sheridan on a weekend. The sheets were clean and the bed was comfortable, but the bedspread looked about as old as the motel, so I took it off. The bathroom's small, and the sink handle came off when I tried to turn it on. Still, for this trip, the location and cost worked for us. I'd guess the motel dates from the 1950s or 60s.

The owner is a friendly older woman and knows the area well, so she can help with getting around or finding your bearings near the Bighorn. It's a tidy, affordable place to stop before heading there, with a clean room, the basics, free Wi-Fi, and everything working. The AC is a little loud, and make sure the door is shut securely. Also, despite what the website says, breakfast is no longer provided.

Linda checked me in, then let me rest in the office for a bit when I suddenly felt unwell after a long drive. I was having a bad reaction to caffeine from a drink I'd had on the road, and she gave me some crackers. I really appreciated that, and the nearby Saloon bar was handy too. The room was much cleaner than I expected, with no odd smell, and I felt safe and comfortable there. The shower had great pressure without hurting, and the firm bed was comfortable. It was quiet until around 6am, when trucks started speeding by, so sleeping in might be tough. A good stay, and I'm thankful to Linda.
