The bathroom had dirt and hair on the shower floor and walls, plus a bar of soap left by the previous guest in the shower's top right corner. The floor around my bed was dirty too, and seemed to have some kind of illegal substances left on it. The top door lock was broken and wouldn't lock all the way. The kitchen instructions say to open the windows when cooking, but they barely open and won't stay up. At 2 am, another guest set off the fire alarm for a long time. The fire department came and left after three minutes. Homeless people wandered around the property freely. Breakfast was muffins and Nutri-Grain bars, with no protein, juice, or punch. If that's your idea of breakfast, maybe you'll like it. You can find the same thing cheaper or better for the same price. This hotel doesn't seem to care, and neither do the employees.

I checked in Friday for a two-day stay and was still there Monday after being moved through five different rooms. One had no TV cord or cable. Another had a door that opened without a key. In one room the keys were locked away, so I waited an hour and a half. Another had no remote, and a tenant lent me one that still didn't work, so they moved me again. None of the rooms had blankets. When I brought it up, a customer service representative yelled over me. I came back the next morning around 9, when the blankets had been washed, but I have ALS and needed them. I'm sure there's plenty more at this location that should be documented. This service is absolutely unacceptable.

Ashley also deserves recognition for sorting out a transaction issue efficiently and professionally, making sure everything was handled smoothly and accurately. Emoni at Extended Stay White Rock handled a difficult situation with anxious and sometimes rude guests with patience, respect, and charisma. She stayed calm, attentive, and focused on solutions while keeping a positive attitude. Her grace under pressure reflects real dedication to good service, and she's a credit to the Extended Stay team.

My wife and I needed somewhere to stay away from home, and the room was nice and clean, with a complete kitchen where everything worked and a well-maintained, clean bathroom. Thanks to the staff, the stay has been relaxing and peaceful, especially because of Ashley, who is pleasant and really knows her job. Kudos as well for the smiles from Alyssa, Pedro, Charnell, Jessie, Trisha, and Veronica. Thank you all! We'll stay another month, maybe longer. Congratulations, Extended Stay America!
