The location made it easy to get around, with Mt. Rushmore, the Black Hills, Custer State Park, and Needles Highway a short drive away. Terry Peak Ski Resort was about an hour and a half away for our day in the snow. We also appreciated how quiet and tucked-away the place felt. Our small family, two adults and two kids, fit well in the one-bedroom cabin. It had a living room, kitchen, and bathroom, and was clean, cozy, well cared for, and stocked with what we needed. The deck grill was a nice extra. Check-in and checkout were simple, and the hosts had thought through the details. We'd happily come back. It's a good fit for a small family, and there are other cabins for bigger groups or different needs.

The creek's sound was lovely, and Creekview Cottage was right in the middle of everything we wanted to see. It was very clean, with plenty of beds, and having a washer and dryer available was a big plus. Dairy Twist is next door, though it was closed during our October visit. There's also a great roadside coffee shop just down the road.

We had plenty of space in this clean cabin, and the full kitchen and outdoor grill were handy. It was a great place to stay, just what we wanted.

The sunrise was beautiful, and the whole place was so quiet and peaceful. The cabin was also right where we needed it for the things we wanted to do. My grandson had a great time playing on the playground and climbing the rocks.

The kids had room to play in the backyard, with a playground right there. Our cabin was clean and had all the amenities we needed. It's also near a lot of popular attractions, and we'd love to return someday.
