The room was spacious and very clean, and breakfast had plenty of tasty choices. But what I’ll remember most is how the staff treated me. Every person I met was pleasant, ready to help, and easy to talk to. I’m a healthcare traveler in a city I didn’t know, and after having to leave an unsafe place unexpectedly, I needed somewhere warm and safe for me and my two small dogs. A nearby police officer suggested this hotel. I arrived at the desk in tears, and Bernadine and Tiffani immediately made sure I was safe and offered their help. Their kindness and compassion meant a lot to me. I used to be a Director of Operations in Texas, so good customer service matters to me, and theirs was amazing. I won’t forget how far those two women went for me. I’d recommend this place to anyone staying in Raton, NM. Fun fact, I worked for Best Western in my hometown of Norfolk VA when I was 19.

The indoor pool was a real highlight, and I can picture our great grandkids having a great time in it when we come back. We’re already looking forward to another trip to see our grandson and kiddos, and we’ll stay at Best Western Plus again. Our room was roomy, spotless, and nicely equipped, a comfortable place to come back to after busy days. The cleaning staff were lovely and always willing to help. From the moment we arrived, the whole staff was attentive and did their best to make us feel at home. We had a great stay at Best Western Plus in Rotan, NM. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a place in Rotan.

The room was bigger than I expected, and the older decor was still in good shape. The bed was comfortable, and breakfast had a really good range of choices. Staff were 110% professional throughout, with great service from check-in through dinner and breakfast the next morning. Having a full-service restaurant right on site would make this an especially good choice in harsh weather, hot or cold. I was surprised by how good the hotel was and will stay here again whenever I need to.

Breakfast was a real bonus, with incredible food that was much better than the usual hotel breakfast. The restaurant on the property was handy too, and its prices were comparable to a stand-alone restaurant. We had a single king room with a comfortable bed and a nice sitting area. There was plenty of light, including an overhead light, which is pretty rare. The bathroom was spacious, the exhaust fan came on with the light, and I liked having the sink outside the bathroom. I’m a Diamond member of Best Western rewards and have stayed with Best Western for over 20 years. This is one of the best properties I’ve been to.

Nothing fancy here, but it’s comfortable and well maintained. I slept great and liked the complimentary breakfast, which had a few more options than a standard continental spread, including scrambled eggs and pancakes made to order. I’d happily stay again.
