Quality Inn Raton, NM

Nothing fancy, but decent, and the staff were nice. Mulligan's, the hotel restaurant next door, has awesome green chile chicken pizza, so there's good food close by.

Everyone's been friendly and helpful, and the price is affordable with breakfast included. I was given a pet-friendly room, and the carpet looks brand new. I couldn't find a speck of dust. This is the best hotel I've come across on my drive from Texas to Oregon. I highly recommend it.

The hotel is old and worn, though it was clean. The pool and hot tub were nice, and breakfast was average. It was a road trip stop for us, and I'd stay again.

I called the Raton, NM location about canceling a room I'd booked a month ahead for a hunting trip after our plans fell through. They said they'd cancel it and refund my card within a couple of days. A week later, no credit had come through, so I called again and learned they weren't refunding anything. I know the email said non-refundable, but the person on the phone had told us otherwise. They basically said I was SOL. I won't stay at any of these hotels again.
