Maison D'Memoire Bed & Breakfast Cottages

It was lovely to get away and enjoy some quiet even though we were close to home. The cottage was precious, with antique details, and we enjoyed our planned supper in. Sitting by the fire in the evening was nice too. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom had everything you could need or want. Breakfast was brought to us in the morning, hot and delicious, and better than I expected. Thank you for sharing your beautiful cottage with my husband and me. Jessica Hebert

We spent a lovely weekend at Maison D'Memoire and will definitely be back. The owner was gracious and shared plenty of useful information. We stayed in the Autumn Cottage, a beautifully restored building over 100 years old with a lovely wraparound porch. The historical pictures and luxurious clawfoot tub were among the thoughtful touches. We took long walks around the property to watch the sunsets and wildlife, and Lafayette was close enough for dinner. Don't skip the breakfast at Maison D'Memoire, it was delicious.

11/12/25. Check-in was easy, and the bed was so cozy I slept more soundly than I have in ages. After a recent health issue, that was my first truly restful night in weeks. We had a wonderful stay, enjoyed sitting and strolling by the peaceful water, and loved the charming cottage's outdoor fire pit, seating area and string lights. The dinner tip for Chef Roy’s Frog Café was spot-on. It was my first time trying frog legs, and they were delicious. Breakfast came right to the front porch and was fabulous. We're already planning another visit for the swamp tour.

The hosts were warm, welcoming and quick to take care of what we needed, and everything was managed well and kept very clean. We loved the cottage's cozy, quiet feel and aesthetic, and my husband really enjoyed the breakfasts too. Such a lovely little business on a beautiful property. We'll definitely come back.
