I’ve been coming to Rock Creek Resort since I was a kid and still try to bring my kids for summer family time. The remodel looks great and keeps the Rock Creek feel, but I miss the old setup. The beds were comfortable, though the pool was too cold for the kids and me to stay in long, and now there’s a cold tub instead of a hot tub. At nearly $400, I’d hoped to enjoy the pool with them more. It’s a nice modern facelift, but I liked the old version better.

The staff were all so friendly, and the setting and views are stunning. Our room and the pool area were clean, and the pool was warm and in good repair. The saunas looked new and were clearly well cared for. We tried the brand-new cold plunge, which was interesting and also well maintained, but I still missed having a hot tub. We’re already trying to plan another trip.

Falling asleep to the river was amazing. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff and accommodations were great. We had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend it. Thanks for having us!

We loved waking up by the creek and having an easy base for exploring during the day. The location feels remote, right at the base of the pass, but you’re still close to town rather than isolated. The food and service were special, and our room was clean, updated and comfortable, with a great bed. The staff were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond for us. It’s a beautiful addition to Red Lodge and the wider Beartooth area.

We really enjoyed the dining options, and it was easy to get to hiking trails and other outdoor activities. The place has a lovely balance of relaxation and adventure. The rooms were spotless and comfortable, and the staff made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Everything is well maintained, with beautiful scenery and peaceful surroundings. We can’t wait to return to Rock Creek Resort and recommend it for a refreshing getaway.
