If you smoke and drink, this place may suit you. I asked for a smoking room and got exactly that, with so much nicotine on the walls you could almost lick it off. The bedspread looked like something you’d want under your feet if you dared go barefoot, and I’d bring a sleeping bag for the bed and clean it when I got home. You get what you pay for, I guess.

The staff were incredibly sweet and thoughtful. My concern was outside: people were around the parking lot all night making all kinds of deals, if you know what I mean. It left me unsure whether everything in my vehicle was safe.

We needed a room after the weather knocked out our electricity, but the woman at the counter wouldn’t help us, even though the window sign said, “we are here to assist you”. My husband is blind, and her reaction to that seemed unbelievably troubling. I felt we were being discriminated against. On August 17, 2021, we were treated horribly. I’ve lived in the area all my life and have never encountered such rude, unprofessional behavior. I’m appalled that people treat others this way.

The staff were kind and helpful, and our newly remodeled room was very clean. We were pleasantly surprised by how much you get for the price. We’ll stay here again.

After losing my home in the recent fire, I found the customer service disappointing. They seemed insensitive about our dogs, a 3-pound Chihuahua and a 50 lb lab, both potty trained and good in the house. We ended up not staying there.
