Hampton Inn & Suites Redding

Housekeeping was wonderful and breakfast was pleasant. The rooms are very nice, but I asked for the GM to contact me about a concern and was completely ignored and dismissed. I contacted corporate, and they addressed my issues. There’s no wall or bedside clock, as if guests can’t work one. I don’t like turning on my phone at night just to check whether it’s 3am or 6am. You’ll enjoy staying here as long as you don’t have to deal with the front desk or the GM.

I stay here often on trips to and from Oregon, and highly recommend it. The property is nice, with a friendly and helpful staff, and it’s close to shopping and restaurants in Redding’s Hilltop area. They’re currently remodeling. PEJ, Hilton Diamond Member

The hot tub was broken for our whole stay, and it sounded like it had been out of order for quite a while. Since soaking after hiking and sports was one of my main reasons for booking, that really detracted from the trip. I also found housekeeping occasional, and they didn’t make the bed properly, so I did it myself each day. Having a tidy bed matters to me after a full day out. This is one of the more old fashioned Hampton Inns I’ve stayed at. I booked for breakfast, big rooms, and especially the hot tub. It was a free week using points, but I would have paid to stay somewhere with working facilities. If I go back to Redding, this place is on my skip list.

Jose was very helpful and polite while checking me in. The room was great, clean and comfortable, and had the amenities I expect from a Hilton. That quality, along with Jose’s service, was much appreciated. The parking lot was well lit and had security on site at night.
