We came for a volleyball tournament in San Bernardino and appreciated being allowed to check in early. The location was great, the room spacious, and the beds comfortable. Breakfast was simple but good enough, with four cereals, boiled eggs, oatmeal, bagels, muffins and yogurt. The walls are thin, though, so you’ll hear everything if the guests next door are noisy.

We’d stayed here before, but won’t be returning. The computer system was down when we arrived, so they couldn’t check us in at first. Eventually we were put in a ground-floor room described as newly renovated. We could clearly hear the neighbors talking and watching TV at a normal volume, but when we asked to switch rooms, they said no. The carpet by the bathroom was soaking wet, and the sink tap was clearly broken with no hot water. We asked again for a different room and were refused. When we requested a refund, the manager said no because they couldn’t resell the room. I don’t know what caused the wet floor, but I’d be concerned about mold. They should have the contractor back to fix the renovation and shouldn’t resell that room.

I slept well and the rooms were clean, so the stay was good overall. I was there for work and initially had a king suite, but it had no couch, desk chair or any other chair. For some reason they couldn’t get one into the room, so I moved to a regular king room that had a single chair. Suites need couches and chairs.

My room was so spacious, and the service was friendly. Everything was very clean, and I loved the room. I didn’t get any pictures, but I’d definitely recommend staying here. They also have a breakfast bar with simple items. 😁
