Eagle Crest

Eagle Crest staff were helpful and made up for a lot, but dealing with WorldMark was awful. At check-in we had to go to the third floor, even though the elevator was broken. Nobody gave us useful information about the resort, including that pool towels had to be picked up at the Eagle Crest desk. We also weren’t told what the wristbands were for, and never used them. Instead, the concierge kept pushing a Wyndham timeshare-style presentation in exchange for points. We had our 15-month-old with us and explained it would be nap time, so we couldn’t both attend. He said that was fine, then asked for a credit card hold without explaining why until we asked. It turned out to be a deposit in case we didn’t attend. The next day my partner tried to go, but was told both of us had to be there. We’d already explained that wouldn’t work. The staff were rude and pushy, and charged us $40 for missing the seminar even though we tried to attend and were turned away. We complained at the WorldMark desk and got a call from someone who said we’d been told both of us had to attend. We hadn’t agreed to that, and they still charged the $40. I’ll do what I can to avoid dealing with WorldMark again. If you stay here, try to book directly with Eagle Crest.

The beds were a big plus, really comfortable, and our room was clean. It was dated, with light carpet stains and mildew in the shower, but that was okay for us. The resort is pet friendly, the staff were great, and we enjoyed the food at both the café and the resort restaurant. It also cost much less per night than a Hilton or Best Western in Bend/Redmond, neither of which even had a breakfast area. The setting is beautiful, so I do recommend staying here. We’ll come back and check out more of the amenities.

The golf courses were in good shape, and the front desk staff were friendly every day. The rooms are old and don’t look like the website photos. I’d come back after they update them.

Really affordable, with several amenities, nice views, and a convenient location close to everything. The place was very clean and quiet, everything looked new, and the fancy decor made a good impression. It seems to have been renovated. I’d highly recommend it.
