Reedley Inn

The bed was large, clean, and comfortable, and we could park right in front of our room. It was very clean and quiet, and check-in was easy. We stayed one night while traveling from Yosemite to Sequoia, and for the price, this place deserves six stars. Great for an overnight stop on a road trip.

The shower was too small, and the rooms weren't very clean. The mattress sat on a piece of plywood and wasn't comfortable. The towels were dingy, so I asked for cleaner ones. The cleaning lady was very nice and helped with the request.

We had two days of partial relaxation before being told we had to change rooms because ours was apparently booked. The replacement room was awful: cockroaches, a bad smell throughout, no proper bathroom ventilation, and mold and mildew covering the walls. They blamed us for the roaches and mildew. The staff were extremely rude, forcing daily maid service and acting as if they were doing us a favor by letting us stay in one of their nasty rooms. There are none of the usual hotel amenities, not even ice. WiFi was so unreliable I couldn't get work done, and I had to walk to the KFC or McDonald's to work. The guests seemed shady, with shouting and slamming doors all the time. It's on the busiest street in town, and the traffic noise was unbelievable. They aren't pet friendly, and even accused us of having an animal in the room. The whole stay was ridiculous and horrible. I'd rather pitch a tent by the river than ever stay here again.

We went there for a wedding. The place was cozy, nice and clean, and had what we needed. It's nothing fancy, but still very nice. It's also a beautiful place for anything.
