This could work for a quick, short stay, but the pullout mattresses and the toiletries need attention. The little packets of “conditioning shampoo” weren’t enough for my thick hair, and even after using about three, my hair felt like straw. Bottles of shampoo and conditioner would be worth spending a few extra dollars on. I always check beds wherever I stay. The first room was disgusting: no bedbug covers on the mattresses, bugs in the bed, and roaches under the couch mattress when I pulled it out. They scattered everywhere, big and little ones. I asked for another room and they moved me right away, without questions or an argument. The second room was okay and had no bugs under the couch, but the mattress was still gross, with dirt, Q-tips, and a couple of pennies. Motels should cover every mattress, including the couch beds. That seems cheaper than replacing several beds.

For $67, this was a convenient spot just off the interstate to get a couple of hours of sleep. The room was clean, though the parking lot and surrounding areas were trashed. It was cheap, so you get what you pay for.

Quiet little place where nobody bothered me, and the guy at check-in was polite and friendly. It did the job for a good rest. The room was decent and clean, nothing fancy. Good spot for truck drivers, right beside a small truck stop with room for maybe 10 trucks. Fuel there was cheaper than at the Pilot down the street.

The bed was seriously comfortable, and I slept like a baby. My room was clean, and the tub even had a slip mat, which is so important. There was also a coffee pot, TV, microwave, and fridge. I just needed somewhere to crash and was pleasantly pleased. Thanks, Budget Inn. I’d recommend this place.

The room seemed clean and pleasant when we checked in, but after we went to sleep, my wife woke up with cockroaches crawling in and on the bed, and on us. We’d been there less than three hours and couldn’t take it any longer. We left at 2:00am and ended up sleeping in our car until dawn at the gas station across the road.
