Grand Motel Inn and Suites of Reform AL

The rooms are older and pretty basic, but they worked for sleeping. There’s a small fridge, though no microwave, ice bucket, or coffee maker. I asked about coffee and she had one I could borrow, so maybe there were other things available too, I just didn’t ask. Things started off a little rough, but the manager fixed the issue and was nice about it. That’s why I gave it five stars.

We found the staff friendly and helpful. My wife needed an iron and ironing board, and they had one at the office. The room itself was clean and neat, with a comfortable bed and pillows, plus a microwave, refrigerator, and a good-sized wall TV. Nothing fancy, but it’s a good place to stop and rest while traveling. Reform is a very small town, and I’d definitely stay here again.

Miss Debbie was a pleasure to deal with and checked each day to see if I needed anything during my four-day stay over the 4th of July. The room was a little small, and I wished there were somewhere to hang shirts; the bathroom was smallish too. But the step-in shower had great pressure and plenty of hot water, and the comfortable bed and pillows made the room feel nice. The renovations are making a difference. The outside might put you off, but the rooms are clean and very nice. I’ll stay again over Labor Day.

The check-in was a bit awkward because the office was locked and we couldn’t find the employee who was on site. There was a phone number on the window, though, and they came down to help us once I called. The manager was very pleasant. From outside it looks like a slightly nicer version of a typical roadside motel, but the inside was a surprise: the rooms were really nice and updated. The previous owner had turned the place into a storage facility. All in all, we had a pleasant stay.
