Mar Bella Boutique Hotel & Spa

We had a great time at Marbella Stay and would definitely stay again. The host was friendly and understanding, and kindly let us check in early and leave an hour late without charging extra. He was genuinely helpful. The pool, hot tub, and sauna made it hard to want to leave, and the place was super relaxing. It’s also conveniently located, about a 10-minute drive from the beach. I’d recommend it for a vacation.

Mar Bella is unassuming from the outside, but inside it’s well appointed. The beds were comfortable, the sheets and room were clean, and check-in was flawless and contactless, with the code sent by email. The grounds were neat and the spa feel carried throughout. I was skeptical at first, but the location turned out to be perfect: quiet and relaxing, yet still close to the beach and shops. I’d highly recommend this little spa hotel if you’re visiting the Delaware beach area.

The rooms, service, and location would get 4 or 5 stars from me, but I can only give the place 2 overall after this stay. We loved it so much last year that we came back, but other guests yelled, laughed, shouted, and slammed doors from 10 p.m. until midnight. I barely slept and missed the sunrise over the beach, which I’d planned to get up early to see. I used to love this place, but I won’t return unless they can say they’ve done something about guests treating it like a roadside motel for teens after prom. Maybe they could offer more than “the best rate” if we book again, such as a partial refund for the night of sleep I lost.

My girlfriend and I stayed three nights and loved it. The rooms were gorgeous and clean, the beds comfortable, and the bathroom spacious, with plenty of soft linens. It felt very private, with lots of space from the other guests. The courtyard was nicely set up, with a huge hot tub, sauna, and pool, and the beach is close by. Our hosts were kind, sweet, and attentive. I 100% recommend staying here.
