Days Inn of Reidsville

We’d booked another night, but after they accused my wife and me of breaking the sink, they put us on the DNR list without telling us. We didn’t break it. Nobody bothered to hear us out or check before deciding we were at fault. When we asked politely for our money back after finding out about the way we were being treated, they refused. The staff were rude and disrespectful through the whole thing. I wouldn’t recommend the Days Inn in Reidsville. Paying guests shouldn’t be treated this unfairly, so I’d pick somewhere else in the area.

My husband was charged three times for the room, and now we’re told the refund will take 7-10 days. When I called, Robbie, the so called manager, was rude and hung up on me. I also contacted corporate to complain, but they said each location is independently franchised and basically they don’t care. Don’t stay here if you don’t want to lose your hard-earned money.

Booking this place online through Hotel.com was one of my worst decisions. I trusted Wyndham’s reputation and got the wrong impression. First they gave us a key for room 107, where a repairman was working. The manager moved us to 221, but both beds had stained bedspreads and pillowcases, and there was a bug carcass on the floor and bed. It was supposed to be nonsmoking, yet smelled strongly of smoke, and the mildew odor was awful. We told the manager the conditions meant we couldn’t stay. He said there’d be no refund for an online booking. The pictures and the property page were totally misleading. He then showed us room 110, also listed as nonsmoking, but it smelled just as bad of smoke and mildew and had stained, nasty bedding. Be careful booking here.

Found a room at a decent last-minute price. The bedding had stains, and there wasn’t a smoke detector in the room. Staff were friendly and helpful.
