The hosts made everything feel easy, and their local knowledge was helpful throughout my stay. The rooms were roomy, spotless, and full of warmth and character. I was especially taken with the 1800s building itself: the original woodwork, antiques, and period details are beautifully preserved, while the stay still has modern comforts. There were fresh baked treats available during the day, from pastries to other sweets, and breakfast was a real highlight. The ingredients were fresh and locally sourced, and the eggs, homemade bread, and preserves felt like food from a family kitchen. You can really feel the care in the hospitality and cooking. It’s a lovely mix of historic atmosphere and genuine warmth, with attentive hosts and generous food. I left feeling comforted and enriched, and already thinking about another visit.

The rooms have a nice historic feel, but they’re comfortable too, and everything is decorated thoughtfully. Brenda and Mark made us feel welcome from the start. They even cleared the snow from around our car. Breakfast was a wonderful full course meal, and there were homemade treats as well. I’d definitely recommend this charming B&B.

We felt at home with Brenda and Mark. They’re warm, good people and fantastic hosts. Breakfast was really well done, and they had helpful ideas for what to do and how to make the most of time in the Amish and Mennonite community. We highly recommend staying here.

We loved the quiet rural Pennsylvania setting, and the place was sparkling clean. Mark and Brenda have clearly cared for the property for a long time, keeping its lovely 18th century character intact. Brenda made us the best breakfast ever. The owners are friendly, too. I liked having no TV in our room since it made the stay feel like a real escape from the busy world. There are TVs in other rooms if you want one. We hope to come back soon!
