Reunion Resort

The pickleball courts are outstanding, with lighting that makes evening games comfortable and enjoyable. The location is convenient for those of us who live nearby. We had an excellent experience here and plan to keep using the space for our activities. If you’re looking for an accessible, well-maintained place to play, it’s worth a visit.

We found out just one week before arriving that the Waterpark would be closed for scheduled maintenance. For a resort that promotes it as a main attraction, guests should be told at booking if it won’t be available during their stay. A discount would make sense too. Instead, we paid full price and heard about the closure after the fact. It’s like buying a theme park ticket and learning later that half the rides are shut. This isn’t a minor inconvenience when the Waterpark is part of the experience being advertised. Getting the news only a week ahead felt like they were counting on us to be too committed to change plans. Guests deserve to know what they’re paying for before they pay.

We initially booked a week, then stayed for three. My husband and I came to Orlando to help our daughter settle into her new place, and Reunion Resort turned what could’ve been a stressful trip into an oasis. We’d visited before to sit at the bar, lobby, or outdoor balcony and work, but this was our first time staying here. Our two-bedroom, two-bath condo on the sixth floor was spacious. Our sons joined us for part of the trip before flying home, and the second bedroom was perfect. After long days, I loved retreating to the soaking tub in the main bathroom. Housekeeping came almost daily to refresh towels, take out trash, and make the beds. We also requested two deep cleanings, which were enough and worth it for a stay that long. The grounds are immaculate, and I enjoyed walking through the different neighborhoods on the property. The resort feels tucked away from Orlando’s chaos while still being close to the major highways. For dining, Eleven on the top floor is my favorite. It has a beautiful rooftop pool and gorgeous views, and it’s open Tuesday from 5pm to 10pm through Sunday. The Lobby Sushi Bar downstairs comes alive when it opens at 5pm. The Clubhouse next door serves breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner, while 7593 Chophouse offers an upscale dinner on the hotel’s first floor from 5pm to 10pm. There’s also a Starbucks on the first floor beside the elevators. If you golf, the courses are stunning. Reunion Resort is beautiful, relaxing, and well staffed. We’ll be back.

The apartment was roomy, with three double bedrooms, each having a full-size bathroom with both a shower and a separate bath. The kitchen is well equipped if you prefer to eat in, and there are great facilities for the whole family. It was a fabulous place to stay in Florida.
