My husband and I were sick off and on throughout the three months we lived there, and there was mold in our apartment. Management worked hard trying to figure out what was wrong. It's a good option if you're trying to save money and need a cheap place. I wouldn't call it a nice place, though there are worse places to live.

I love my corner apartment. With only one neighbor, I can keep my TV and stereo on the wall without neighbors, and being next to the back stairs means I can take my dog out without getting fully dressed to walk down the hall. The only patch of grass in the complex is closest to my place, which is a lifesaver for those middle-of-the-night bathroom trips. Savannah is amazing, always friendly and helpful, and I haven't met an unfriendly neighbor. I'm so glad I picked Central Park.

Our neighbor had several dogs, I think four, and they smelled awful. I once watched one pee in the hall. I bought an air purifier and set the AC to 65, and the constant airflow thankfully kept the smell out of my apartment. We spent a full day's work and over $50 on cleaning supplies when we moved in, and after fees the smallest apartment cost about $860 a month. I give a star for good management and maintenance, and another for the lower price and getting our deposit back. I'd take one star off for the cleaning we had to do and another for the neighbors' smell. The photos in other reviews looked pretty accurate to our move-in experience.

The complex isn't BYUI approved, which is different from being BYUI student-approved housing, so it doesn't have to follow college rules. As a result, we often dealt with people smoking in the parking lot, foul language, very loud vehicles, and pet owners who couldn't control their animals. My wife and I stayed in a studio that was filthy when we arrived. It looked like it hadn't been mopped in at least a year, and the so-called kitchen table had actual holes. We kept getting sick even though neither of us usually does, so there must have been mold somewhere. Rainwater came through the windows and flooded the apartment several times, soaking our belongings. The floors were ripped up enough that we had to wear shoes at home all the time. The advertised amenities were a problem too: the pool was out of order for about 2 and a half months, laundry on site was extremely expensive, and the so-called 24 hour gym was only open from 7 am to 10 pm. The manager is a really nice woman, and the AC in our apartment worked very well. Still, choosing this place has been disastrous for me and my wife. It seems like a good deal because it's close to campus, rent is low, and the amenities look cool, but students should not choose this complex.
