We could hear people talking and shutting doors all night because there was barely any soundproofing. The bedding was the biggest problem: the sheets hadn't been washed, the towels were stained, and the shower curtain had mold along its edge. The room itself was spacious and tidy, and the surfaces and bathtub seemed clean. I paid $136 for a one-bed room, plus a $40 cash deposit. Those were about the only positives.

They charged me $115.00 even though the advertised rate was $85, and there wasn't even breakfast included at that price. I also had to leave a $40 cash deposit, which they returned after checking the room at checkout. The room itself was clean and quiet.

There were ants crawling around the room, including in one of the beds. When we told the front desk at check-in, they brushed us off and offered no help or accommodation, only saying we could talk to the manager in the morning. At checkout, the manager didn't seem surprised about the live bugs, didn't take responsibility or listen, and wanted me to stop talking because others might hear. No refund or compensation was offered, and this was not a cheap room. The place was filthy too. There were stains on the beds, linens, shower curtain, floors, and other spots, some of the floor marks looked like blood. The shower hadn't been cleaned before we arrived. We were given a smoking room with a terrible smell, and I don't understand why smoking rooms still exist. I would have left if I lived closer and could get a refund. Spending the night in our car would've been better. This was a horrifying waste of money and the worst hotel room I've ever seen or stayed in. I've even stayed in the middle of nowhere in Texas, and that room was ten times cleaner, with staff who were ten times nicer and more helpful. Zero stars if I could, don't recommend it at all. Stay anywhere else.
