The antique setting was a fun change, and the pricing was great. We were in the Burdette House, where our suite had a sitting room and a separate bedroom. We enjoyed a wood-burning fire both nights. The restaurant was excellent, and there was a good range of drinks at the bar, including the Maple Mule mocktail. Jay Peak is close by.

Beth went 30 minutes out of her way to pick up a charger for our car's dead battery, and Kyle pointed us toward some great local beers. We really appreciated both of them. After a day skiing, the cozy bed was such a welcome place to land that I was already looking forward to getting back into it after our first night. We stayed three nights in the Burndette House, with Jay Peak and the local water holes close by.

Christmas Day dinner was honestly one of the best meals I've ever had. The prime rib was amazing, and so was everything else. We stayed for two nights starting on Christmas Eve, and the room was clean and comfortable. Check-in was easy. Coffee, juice, muffins, yogurt, and fruit were available from 7am. It's a great location for skiing at Jay Peak.

8-18-25. My room was in the side building, not the main one, and there was no A/C. Luckily it was cool that night, so I could leave the windows open. I liked having the gazebo as a place to smoke. The location was very central. The restaurant was closed for the summer until October, I think.

The owner was very nice, and everything worked great, including the WiFi. I was there with fellow riders, and the low-touch, Airbnb-style setup suited us perfectly. It's an old inn, so the rooms and amenities have that feel. If you want modern luxury, this isn't the place. I believe they offer a more traditional inn experience during foliage season, when the bar and restaurant are open. I've heard the restaurant is supposed to be very good, but I can't confirm that myself. The location is great for getting to most destinations around the NEK.
