Ramada by Wyndham Richland Center

The property looks updated and the room was really clean. I’d definitely come back. Breakfast, though, was pretty limited: yogurt, cereal, toast, and frozen pancakes or breakfast burritos. There weren’t eggs or a waffle maker this time, which you find at a lot of motels these days.

The room was great apart from a couple of things. Both USB ports in the wall by the night stand were badly broken, so I had to unplug the clock to charge my phone overnight. There were also two different kinds of hair in the shower, and the ledge still looked dirty, though I couldn’t tell what it was. The employees were all courteous and helpful. On Friday night, April 24th, the overnight front desk employee was patient when my bank wouldn’t let my card work and helped me get rebooked for Saturday. Other than those room issues, it was a great stay. Thank you!

The rates surprised us, especially for a room with a hot tub. The hotel was quiet and very clean, and the pool, though small, was clean too. There’s also a delicious restaurant on site. It’s a real gem, with beautiful presidential decor and paintings of all the American presidents. The history adds to the feel, and even the suites are named after states.

We had some kind of noise for most of the night. I’m not sure what caused it, but it sounded like a machine. Even so, it’s a nice place in a great location, and we’d definitely stay again.
