Comfort Suites Richmond East

I really enjoyed my first stay at a Comfort Suites and would happily book here or at another Comfort Suites again. The lobby was spacious, with plenty of chairs and spots for people to gather or chat, and breakfast had lots to choose from. Over the couple of days I was there, the menu changed and included eggs, breakfast sandwiches, waffles with several batter flavors, hot and cold cereal, danishes, juice, tea, and coffee. My room was roomy and bright, including the bathroom, and there was space for all my things. I liked the shelf with an outlet for keys or charging, the coat hook, and the lighted vanity mirror. The big desk had lots of outlets, and the bed was comfy with plenty of pillows. The hotel itself was clean and well lit, and I loved the Christmas decorations. Staff were wonderful from check-in through checkout. Its location just off the highway was handy, with food, groceries, and other shops nearby.

The free breakfast was the best I've ever had at a hotel. There was plenty of hot, tasty food, and a chef was there making fresh eggs and pancakes. I tried the blueberry pancakes and they were wonderful, even with the do-it-yourself waffle option also available. The building was nice and very clean, and the service was great.

Steve, the night conciérge, made check-in easy even with a lot going on. While helping us find a room, he kept getting interrupted by people buying snacks or asking about rooms. He politely checked that I was okay with him multitasking, then got us checked in, sorted out a finicky credit card, and helped the other customers too. The rooms were clean, the building felt very modern, and breakfast was great. We had a really good experience.

Everything was super modern and ultra clean, and the service was extremely nice. Stephen at the front desk was wonderful, and the guy making breakfast was fun and friendly. He cooked up amazing hash browns and scrambled eggs. A great place to stay if you're passing through.
