We’d stay here again. The king room had lots of room, even for a queen air mattress if you’ve got a baby who can’t sleep up high. It was quiet, very clean, and had blackout shades on a track. The shower was nice, though the track in room 234 looked a little dirty. Breakfast was good, the staff were friendly, and the parking spaces were wide. There’s real coffee downstairs, not pods or odd K-cups. Gas, Meijer, and Culver’s are an easy drive away. A 10/10 for us.

It was quiet, and the location worked well for us, with plenty of stores and restaurants nearby. Our room was clean, breakfast was well stocked, and the staff were friendly. We had a great stay.

The Quality Inn next door gave us a better room for less, so we ended up there. We had booked the wrong Holiday Inn Express for two nights while attending a funeral, and only learned at arrival that our reservation wasn’t at this location. Rather than help us find a solution, they said they wouldn’t accept coupons and wanted to charge full price. We’re both Silver Elite IHG members and VIP Holiday Inn Club Vacations members, so that treatment was unacceptable. I won’t stay at this IHG HIE again.

I was caught off guard by how rude the woman at the front desk was today. You’d think hospitality mattered in the hospitality industry. After reading management’s replies to other negative reviews, I can see the same tone and word choices that matched what I experienced in just a few minutes at the desk. Good luck dealing with all that.

The room was modern, roomy, and clean, and the staff were both friendly and efficient. Breakfast was plentiful, warm, and good. We had a great time and would highly recommend it.
