The Quarters at Pier450

That pork chop was tender, juicy, and delicious, and the salmon had a delicate texture with loads of flavor. We also tried the mixed berry cobbler, so leave room for dessert; the other desserts are home spun too. On our first visit, the cozy room still had an uptown feel. The meal felt like a friend had made everything just the way we wanted, almost as if we had our own personal chef, rather than dishes prepared ahead and brought out. Every detail seemed taken care of. It made for a great meal and a special night.

The area is so calm and laid back, just the kind of place to get away from everyday craziness. My wife and I stayed here for our anniversary and loved it. The rooms are nice, the showers are great, and we're already planning to come back. Check it out.

The watermelon gazpacho special had a nice little kick from the jalapeño, balanced by the fruit's sweetness, and it was outstanding. We had a great dinner for my mother's birthday. We arrived 30 minutes early, but the staff seated us right away. All the entrees were delicious, and Sophia was attentive and knew the menu well. Pier 450 never disappoints!

The location is perfect, quiet and peaceful. We didn't try the restaurant this weekend, but plan to return and give it a go. Our motel room was almost perfect, very clean with a modern-rustic feel. The one problem was the heavy cigarette smell. I bought odor remover spray, and it did work.
