Tru by Hilton Ringgold

After my stay, I asked the hotel to send my fragile necklace in protected packaging and provide a tracking number. They ignored that request and mailed it in a paper envelope without tracking. The necklace was lost. When I contacted the hotel, no one took ownership of the mishandling. They made no effort to resolve the problem or offer compensation, and didn’t even acknowledge that sending a delicate item without protection or tracking was careless and inappropriate. This left me extremely disappointed in the lack of care, professionalism, and responsibility shown toward guests’ belongings. Based on how management and ownership treated my personal property, I’d strongly caution future guests about staying here.

Cody checked me in and was so welcoming. He made me feel at home, like I was a guest in his own home. This was my first time at a Tru hotel, and I’m very impressed with the accommodations. The room was simple, streamlined, and clean, but the service was over the top. I couldn’t have felt more welcome.

The rooms are nice, though they weren’t as clean as I’d expect from a Hilton property. At check-in, the woman at the front desk was very nice. The hotel is conveniently located just outside Chattanooga, but finding the entrance drive is difficult because the corner lot is barricaded off.

The room, pool, and workout area were lovely, and breakfast was fresh and really yummy every morning. The disappointing part was room service. They say it happens every other day of your stay, but we didn’t get any at all. It’s fine, just disappointing.
