Rio Sands Lodge

We were planning to camp, but it was pouring rain, so we came here despite seeing several negative reviews from a guy named “Gary.” Glad we did, none of those complaints added up, and the place was fantastic. I never write reviews, but felt compelled this time. We're small business owners ourselves, so we know how unfounded bad reviews can hurt. Hopefully Rios Sands can withstand Gary jerk.

For the only hotel in rio vista, it could be worse. It's not a 5 star place like Hilton or Marriott, but it's nice enough for what it is. The parking lot's a little small, but it works. The only issue I had was a crack beside the drain in the shower in room one. I'm not complaining, just letting y'all know. I'd stay here again if I had to.

*****BED BUGS***** I got bitten so badly by parasites that it was hard to sleep, and I was so annoyed. This was the third room I was moved to. The first had a broken AC, the second had a broken fridge and mold, and then there were bed bugs. I can't believe they charge so much for rooms like these. Very disgusting.

The room was clean and well maintained, but the wall heating unit failed to heat it on one of the nights. The bigger problem was water dripping from the unit above onto ours. The noise kept us awake. We even went outside and put a towel on our unit to try to stop the dripping sound, but it didn't help. We finally had to use earplugs. Management, please find a way to divert the water so your guests can have a peaceful stay!
