Jamie at the front desk was welcoming, friendly, and professional. She's a real asset to the hotel. The breakfast could use juice.

The hotel isn't fancy, but it was clean, and the beds had a nice firmness. I appreciated having separate layers for covers instead of one huge duvet, though the pillows could be better quality. On Saturday morning, someone flipped the do not disturb sign. It may have been to get the rooms turned over quickly. There's no elevator, because the building predates the code requirements.

There was nobody at the service counter when I dropped my friends off. We looked all over for someone because we were worried about the staff, but couldn't find anyone, including in the unlocked employee-only rooms. The sign said to dial “0” for service and someone would be right with us. We called around 8-10 times. Still no one.

We were in town for one night and just needed somewhere to sleep. Coratel seemed reasonably priced, check-in was easy, and the room was clean and set up in the usual way. The heat and humidity made the surfaces feel a bit sticky, especially the floor. Maybe that was because the air conditioner was off and the big window was open when we arrived. No major complaints otherwise.
