Quality Inn & Suites Robbinsville

Two people in our motorcycle group couldn't make it because they were 100 miles away caring for an injured rider after a serious crash. We'd booked 15 rooms, and even after a long conversation with the owner, he wouldn't refund or lower the rate for those two cancellations. It felt like he cared more about short-term money than keeping customers happy, with no compassion for what had happened. I'd recommend one of the many other choice hotels in the area.

I was with a motorcycle group, and after one of my friends had a serious accident, they had to be flown to UT Med Center in Knoxville. I went to be with my friend and called that day to cancel my room, but the owner charged me anyway and refused to cancel the reservation. That was heartless and terrible. DO NOT STAY AT THIS MOTEL or give this man your business. HE DOES NOT DESERVE IT.

The town shuts down really early, and there's nowhere for people to meet up in the evening. We stayed two nights to go "do the Dragon." The hotel was good and the room was clean, though it was super small. The bed was comfortable, but the pillows weren't the best. Breakfast was simple.

We arrived late, and the receptionist was great. In the morning, the receptionist was great again. The room was super clean, with wood floors, a microwave and fridge, and a heated lamp in the toilet. The bed was comfortable too. Breakfast had a surprisingly good variety, including fruit, toast, coffee, juice, and a waffle machine so you can make a big waffle yourself. The orange juice was delicious. There was syrup, though not maple syrup. I understand maple syrup probably costs more here than in Quebec, where I'm from. Nothing but positives from this place.
