All Seasons Motel

I left before my stay was over because there were bed bugs, and they wouldn’t refund me for that. The nonsmoking room smelled like it had been filled with Black & Milds and cigarettes. Just a horrible experience.

The room was really quiet, and two people fit comfortably in the jacuzzi. It was gorgeous and spacious, with a fridge and microwave, and smelled fresh. I noticed just a bit of hair on the bathroom floor, though the rest was very clean. The bed was hard, so I’ll bring a pad next time. We went on a Saturday and hit a hotel on the way out. For a jacuzzi room, it’s a great deal, and I’ll definitely be back.

The owners made this feel like a home away from home, so we’d happily return. My husband and I stayed a week while visiting family, and the price suited us much better than spending hundreds at a higher-end place. This isn’t a Hilton, so set your expectations accordingly. We had a trailer, and the owners let us park and unhitch it where their cameras could keep an eye on it. The room was kept clean, with fresh towels and toiletries, and it was quiet. Staff were personable and suggested local sights and places to eat. There was cable, but we hooked up my Roku 1 with the Aux cables and used the wifi to watch what we wanted.

We had a wedding to attend in Rock Falls and booked through priceline two months ahead. When we arrived, the hotel had no reservation for us. The owner made no effort to contact priceline and seemed not to understand the problem. We ended up at the Raddison, which was much better. I’m pretty sure I saw what looked like a drug deal in the parking lot as we left. You’ll be happier down the street. AVOID!
