Peaceful and quiet, with comfortable rooms, a good breakfast in the morning, and great hospitality. I love this place and will look for Homes 2 again when I’m traveling out of town.

We’ve stayed at other Home2 Suites and didn’t have this problem, but I wouldn’t recommend this location. The bedding looked dirty, the bathroom was dirty, and the whole place felt old and worn out. It badly needs updates.

We booked a room with two queen beds three months ahead, but when we arrived they gave us a king and a sleeper sofa. They’d apparently overbooked and couldn’t move us to the room we reserved.

The staff said they were short-handed and had no maintenance help, and it showed throughout the property. Only one elevator was working on a busy weekend, and nobody accommodated us. The facility is dated, and several advertised amenities weren’t usable. The old washer and dryers were broken, with doors literally missing. When I complained, the assistant manager, a tall causasion man, said the owners wouldn’t replace them and that they’d been there since the hotel opened in 2016. He wasn’t helpful. The pool was a huge disappointment. There was no chlorine, mold throughout, a musty mildew smell in the area, and a film across the water that I assumed was from bacteria that hadn’t been cleaned. A front desk worker said the pool was cleaned once a week. The outdoor grill by the pool wouldn’t turn on either. The front desk woman said it used propane and should work. I complained to the assistant manager, but he stayed in his office and sent her outside instead. She apologized but didn’t know what to do. I’d brought meat for my family and wasted food because the grill didn’t work and there was no stove to cook it on. The food was disgusting, though the cook was kind and offered what the hotel had supplied her, so I couldn’t blame her personally. I wouldn’t book here with children who want to swim or if you need laundry or a working grill. I asked my travel agent to complain and request a refund for at least one day because the amenities included with my booking weren’t available. I still haven’t received a response, even though I have photos showing their condition. I’d like the corporate number so I can resolve my complaint.
