The bed and pillows were really comfortable, and the full kitchen worked perfectly for what we needed. The room was small and cozy, with a coastal rustic look. Some things could use updating or replacing, but it never felt dirty. The TV wasn’t working, though I’m sure they’ll fix it. I’d book here again.

The place is very close to the beach, but I’d avoid staying here. The photos in the listing are misleading, in my opinion. What was advertised as an Airbnb “home” looked to me more like a condemned motel, with a decrepit room and a badly applied paint job. The bathroom had mold, and the warped front door was stuck shut and unusable. It felt unsafe and unhealthy.

We ended up here because our usual place was full. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable, but it was loose and knocked against the wall whenever anyone moved. From the noise, we wondered if all the beds were loose. The water pressure was okay, though the temperature kept changing, maybe because others were using it at the same time. Parking was horrible. The lock was confusing, the chair was damaged, and so were the walls. There were strange brown splatters on the ceiling, which we told ourselves were soda. We also thought there might be fleas. It’s half a block from the beach, but you can’t hear it.

We stayed Friday through Sunday with four adults and kids, and the place wasn’t clean. There was lots of sand on the floor, and the balcony had gone days without being swept, leaving piles of bird droppings on the floor, seats, and fixtures. A sharp metal banister pointed upward, apparently to keep birds away, but it didn’t work. It was ugly and unsafe. There were only two plastic cups for everyone, one coffee pot, no sugar or sweeteners, and not enough towels. The place isn’t on the beach.

It was clean, which was a relief after reading some recent reviews, and we had a great stay. The room is definitely dated and could use paint, but it was fairly priced. The bed was comfortable, though one broken wheel on the frame squeaked incredibly loudly. I appreciated the fan, and there was a footwash outside plus a broom in the room for sand. Soap, shampoo, and conditioner were provided. After staying at a pricier Econolodge, I found myself missing this place. Thanks for the great stay!
