I usually stay with IHG brands, though next time I’m in the area I might look outside their portfolio. For the price, the room felt a bit worn, with a musty smell that stayed the whole visit and several areas showing a lot of wear for a newer building. There were also several lady bugs in the room when I arrived, including dead ones on the windowsill. I think lady bugs mean good luck, so it didn’t bother me, but another guest might have freaked out. The location is handy for food and other stores. The room was spacious and the beds pretty comfortable. Breakfast was the usual basic Holiday Inn continental selection, nothing special but not bad. It was a decent stay, though the room’s condition made it seem overpriced.

The woman working the desk at night was amazing, but the room smelled musty and didn’t feel clean. For $448 for two nights, I expected a nice, clean hotel. I honestly can’t figure out how this place has such a high rating. Save your money, sleep in the car, or drive farther to another hotel.

The hotel is in a good location and was generally OK, but the rooms didn’t exceed my expectations. Housekeeping came only on my second day during my five-day stay. They didn’t show up on the other three days or say anything about it. I also found at least five bugs in the room, two of them lady bugs. Those bugs and the inconsistent housekeeping are why I rated the stay 3.5 stars.

I left without staying. The place smelled like dirty mop water, and while I was asking about room prices, I saw someone spraying chemicals along the baseboards. When I asked why, the woman immediately said they were spraying for roaches. That was enough for me to walk out.

I’d seen all the one-star reviews, so I was expecting the worst, but the stay was okay. It felt like a typical Holiday Inn. The queen bed seemed more like a twin, and the price was high. If that doesn’t work for you, find another hotel.
