250 Main Hotel

We were a group of four couples and families visiting during the Lobster Festival, and everyone had a lovely time at 250 Main Hotel. The rooms were nicely equipped, and the staff we met were warm and helpful. A bottle of wine waiting in our room for my husband’s milestone birthday was a thoughtful surprise. Rockland’s sights and activities are all within walking distance. Be sure to stop at Olive Rose next door for the caramels. We also got hooked on their lobster gummies and took a bag home.

Our little dog came along, and was included in the vacation, which we loved. The hotel was a clean, welcoming, thoughtfully designed place to come back to after exploring nearby. We made a quick visit to downtown Camden, drove about 10 minutes to the lighthouse, and found a charming shop just down the street. It exceeded what we expected, and we’d happily stay again.

The room was spacious, clean, and had everything my partner and I needed for four nights. We did have a couple of small annoyances: the fridge froze some drinks and other things, and the thermostat didn’t seem to respond to our changes, so the room stayed a bit warmer than we wanted. Still, the shared areas and lobby were beautifully decorated and kept up well. The complimentary breakfast and evening cocktails were lovely extras. Orlando at the front desk was welcoming, attentive, and very accommodating from the start. We had a fantastic long weekend and plan to come back soon. Five out of five for us.

We liked how easy it was to get around Rockland on foot from here. Shops and restaurants downtown were close, so after arriving we didn’t need to drive. The rooms have a comfortable feel and a cool, modern look. A nice place to stay if you want to be near everything.
