Emerson Inn

We were very comfortable in our clean, well-appointed room, and the staff were pleasant and helpful. My husband and I had a beautiful weekend at Emerson. The setting is lovely and the building gorgeous. I’d recommend the Emerson Inn, and we’ll be back.

We went for our anniversary and loved the beautiful location and wonderful staff. They really go above and beyond to help make the stay enjoyable. The rooms are clean and top notch, though the walls are thin and you can hear whatever’s going on. Still, it was a great stay and we’d come back.

The view is breathtaking. Sitting out on the porch with a book or a drink is perfect for a lazy morning, afternoon, or evening, and the pool is glorious, well placed for soaking up the sun and cooling off. The downstairs has been renovated, with a lovely spot for watching or playing a game, or reading on a cloudy day. The lobby and parlor bar invite you to gather for an aperitif, light dinner, or local music. We’ve been coming to the Emerson for 35 years, on quiet romantic trips, with friends, with our then teenager daughters and their friends, and more recently with our adult daughters, husbands, and grandchildren. It’s a special place. We’re thrilled Kimberly is working to make it even more glorious and glamorous. The only thing I’d change is the closet space, though more might take away some of the charm, so I pack accordingly. Thank you, Kimberly, for bringing the Emerson into a new era while keeping that bygone sense of luxury and service. And thank you to Crystal at the front desk. Wow, keep her, Kimberly!

A peaceful place to unwind, with one-of-a-kind views and the friendliest staff. We loved our stay and can’t wait to return. The historical nostalgia is beautiful, and you can tell the ownership pays attention to detail everywhere. They have everything you could imagine.
