The Seafarer Inn

We were grateful to come back after dinner to such a cozy nook, just an easy walk into town. The accommodations were beautiful, comfortable, clean, and charming, and the deck and indoor space both had gorgeous views. We didn’t spend much time on the property, though we could easily have spent the day there. I planned this as a surprise one-year-anniversary gift for my husband, and the couple who run The Seafarer Inn made it so special. They were thoughtful and accommodating, leaving cookies for check-in, including special gluten-free ones for me, plus a handwritten anniversary card and bubbly in the room. We were touched by all of it. They even went above and beyond to help us work through some scheduling difficulties with our trip. Thank you, Chris, for giving your time so generously and helping make this meaningful. We’re looking forward to coming back!

A quiet, soothing spot for a getaway, with the waves audible from the nearby cove. The room has a king sized bed, lovely ocean views, and is close to Bearskin Neck shops and the Old Garden Path. It’s self catering, with a mini frig, microwave, and coffee maker. Just note, the room is up an outdoor staircase to the third floor.

The owners are very friendly and take great care of the Inn. It’s inviting, with a fireplace in the living area for time indoors, and seating inside and out where you get spectacular ocean views from every corner. Each morning there’s a lavish complimentary breakfast, with coffee and tea available at all hours. Our family visits Rockport each year and wanted to try somewhere new. The Seafarer Inn delivered a perfect stay. We booked two rooms, both cozy and clean, with breathtaking ocean views and beautifully decorated private bathrooms. We’ll definitely be back on our next family trip to Rockport.

I stayed in the “pebble beach” room and was very happy with it. The views were magnificent, with water visible from every window, and there’s also a seating area overlooking the ocean. Outside, the triple waterfall koi pond is a nice touch. The inn is in an amazing location, spotless, and well decorated. Self check-in was really easy. Breakfast was superb, and there were candies on a table as well as cereal bars. I’d definitely come back.
