Hampton Inn & Suites Rockville Centre

We stayed for an extended visit with family and were satisfied with everything. The room, hallways, restrooms and the rest of the place were extremely clean. There's abundant free parking, and, did I mention, free cookies? The staff were friendly and responsive. Breakfast is complimentary and as good as any we've had at other locations. The atrium is a special setting.

The area is great for a stroll, shopping and more, with bars and restaurants close enough to walk to. As soon as you arrive, the staff greet you warmly and are all very nice. Our room was clean and quiet. It was a really nice, cozy stay, probably the best around.

Check-in and check-out were quick and easy, and the staff were very helpful. The room was nice, quiet, well maintained and had plenty of amenities. I really liked this hotel and would stay at this location again. I recommend it.

The curtains could be better. Ours didn't close all the way, which made privacy and blocking the light difficult, especially on the first floor. They seemed to have only gauzy curtains. I had an eye mask and changed in the bathroom. I was exhausted after 40 hours of travel from southeast asia when my JFK flight was cancelled and nearby airport hotels were booked. It had been a ROUGH travel day. The man at the front desk, maybe Antonio, I was too tired to remember, had a black sparkly nose stud and was so kind. He even gave me late checkout so I could rest. He was the first person that day to be kind and helpful, and I really needed it. Bryan, who helped me check out in the morning, was wonderful too. The continental breakfast was great. My room was comfy, the towels were new and fluffy, and I loved the soap and lotion. Thanks to the staff for making a tough day as good as it could be :)
