Motel Forrest Rockville

I booked two nights while attending a local outdoor event, mainly so I could come back to an air conditioned room to nap and shower. Both times I returned, hotel staff had switched off the air conditioner, leaving the room just as uncomfortable as being outdoors.

The room was clean and had no bugs or anything like that. But room 3 had barely any shower pressure, and the bed was rock hard. I slept better on a rock driveway. After two nights, I’d had very little sleep.

A nice place, and I’d stay again. Our room had somewhere to hang clothes, despite what someone else had said, plus a good sized fridge with a freezer and a microwave. There was no phone, so we used our cell phone. A shower light would be a nice addition. Just be aware that at certain times of the year they have a 72 hour cancellation policy.

Our pup loved the place, and we found the quaint, clean room just right for our stay. The staff were very friendly and the service was great. The price was good too, and I’d recommend it if you need somewhere in the area. We’d read that the water pressure wasn’t great, but it was pleasant for us. The water was so soft that we hardly noticed the pressure issue.
