Our wedding guests loved their stay, and the hotel helped make the whole weekend feel special. Everyone we dealt with was kind and attentive, and the place ran smoothly even during a very busy weekend. We have no complaints, only thanks, and we’ll be recommending Hampton Inn & Suites Rocky Hill to everyone. The room block was easy to arrange because Viashali, the Sales Manager, was organized, responsive, and genuinely invested in the weekend. Carrie, the Front Desk Manager, handled check-ins, early arrivals, and last-minute requests with professionalism and warmth. Guests mentioned how welcome she made them feel. Gisela and Yoli, the Housekeeping Supervisors, kept the rooms spotless, comfortable, and well organized. Our guests noticed how well maintained everything was. We’re so grateful to the whole team for treating us and our guests like family. Viashali, Carrie, Gisela, and Yoli would each be great running a hotel of their own.

Alex Chevelle and Nico were a big help setting up our registration meeting room, and they gave us plenty of chances to use the space. Carrie at the front desk was warm and friendly, taking care of many of our bowlers’ check-ins and sorting out a few room block issues with ease and professionalism. All the rooms seemed great and were clean.

The room was a typical Hampton, but the service was a big F. We had to ask more than once for the dog mess on the sidewalk and in the parking lot to be picked up. The woman serving food was unfriendly and just stared when we spoke to her. They also changed our room after I had specifically confirmed one, then moved me back to the first floor when I asked why. At least I got my packages. The biggest issue was being refused water when we were leaving for the day and the breakfast area was slammed. They told us to buy it from the cooler, even though there were grab-and-go bags with water on the counter. We didn’t want the other items in those bags, so I took two and threw the rest away. We spend $20k a year with the company, just two people in one room, and this Hampton showed no common sense. Being told to buy water on a $700 bill? Dang. Glad most Hampton hotels aren’t like this. They need to learn how to take care of customers.

The rooms were clean and fully stocked, and I had an excellent stay. Carrie, the front desk supervisor, was so welcoming and friendly that I felt at home every day. She was always smiling and upbeat. I’ll definitely be back.
