The rooms were spotless and the staff were great during our stay in the recent snowstorm. On my last night, Monday Feb 2nd, I went to use the hot tub and found the water brownish green and really foamy. I told the front desk guy, who said it was fine because they were flushing it continuously. Maybe the snow had interfered with water maintenance, but his casual response worried me.

The staff were wonderful, and the room itself was clean and nice. There are several restaurants and stores within walking distance, which is handy. The problem was the whirlpool tub: we paid $150 for a room with jets, but they were filthy. The front desk lady moved us to another room, and its tub jets were just as nasty.

The pool was freezing, and there were bugs in it. We also had to switch rooms after finding what might have been a bed bug or a flea. I can't tell which, and I'll include a photo. The replacement room wasn't nearly as nice. The suites are really nice if you can get one, but I'm not sure I'd stay here again.

There were Asian beetles all over the room, and I found stink bugs too. When a light was on, they gathered all over it. Disgusting, and nobody warned us. They didn't offer discounts either.

The assistant manager and front desk staff were amazing, and they did everything they could to make our stay pleasant and peaceful. Everyone was courteous, the rooms were clean, and breakfast was awesome. We absolutely love Comfort Inn and Suites of Rogersville, Tn. Five stars all around, and I'd recommend it to anyone.
