The rooms are ordinary, but my main concern was how little privacy I felt I had. On a Thursday, Manager Susan Hannigan opened my door while I was asleep in bed, half naked, for a mandatory weekly room check. I had been told checks were every Friday. When I asked for a second to get dressed, she said no and came right in. It was upsetting and felt like an invasion of privacy. They may open the door whether you're showering or naked in bed, and the whole experience was traumatizing, like staying in a rented room in someone's house. The manager and staff always look miserable, and the location is terrible. They charged me $20 for a key card after changing the locks on every door in the building, even though I had never been given a new key. They also charge service animals a $25 nightly pet fee and a $15 daily cleaning fee. I'd avoid this place as much as possible.

The room was clean and comfortable, and the property felt peaceful, safe, and well maintained. I hadn't actually made the reservation I thought I had, and I was stressed that I might have nowhere to stay. Manager Yvette stepped in, reassured me, and quickly found a solution. She handled it with patience, professionalism, and kindness, without making me feel embarrassed or like a bother. From the moment I arrived, I felt looked after. Yvette made the stay easy, and her customer service is why I'd absolutely come back. Highly recommend.

Being right next to 55 makes it easy to get into the city for music events or other functions. There are good restaurants nearby, a world class gym across the street that offers day passes without a membership, and several grocery stores close by. The front desk can also provide cooking utensils and equipment for your room if you ask. For the price, it's a great place to stay. In my experience, the rooms have mostly been well kept, clean, and comfortable. The service is great, and many of the people working here are hardworking. Pam is one of my favorites, always welcoming, funny, and helpful.

For my first extended stay, I was impressed. My family and I usually choose nearby hotels, but having a full-size fridge and kitchenette made switching worthwhile. The place is clean, despite what I've heard about some extended-stay hotels, and it's currently being remodeled too. Yvette at the front desk was attentive, sweet, and much more helpful than I expected. No regrets about staying here. This review is well deserved.

Sue Hannigan, the manager, treated customers and coworkers with terrible disrespect. I saw her speak to a coworker that way and felt bad for the nice woman. The place was nasty, disorganized, and disgusting. One of the worst places I've stayed. Don't stay here. I hope your family keeps their sanity.
