Quality Inn Rosemead - Los Angeles

I stayed recently and couldn’t sleep all night because the room window was defective and wouldn’t close, letting in too much road noise. I kept calling the front desk, but nobody answered.

The walls were dirty, and there were lots of ants in the restroom of my second-floor room. I told the front desk guy, and he seemed to already know about it. Breakfast was very basic, and staff were eating alongside the guests. They took all the breakfast items away right at 9am.

The staff were friendly, and the bed was very comfortable with soft sheets. But the hotel looked extremely rundown and dirty, with carpet stains, marks on the walls, and smears on the furniture. There was a moldy smell throughout. Breakfast was sparse: cereal, a waffle machine, and a prepackaged egg omelet-looking item with a rubbery consistency. Starbucks is across the street, and Target is about a 15 minute walk away.

I’ve been coming here for years and have noticed the facility declining. The carpet was torn and heavily stained, and breakfast is very poor. The shower diverter didn’t work properly; I asked for a repair, but it was never fixed.
