Super 8 by Wyndham Rosenberg TX

Everything in my room worked and it was nice and clean. The shower was lovely, and there are restaurants and gas stations all around for food and snacks. I was a little cold and could've used another comforter, lol. I loved the stay and would definitely come back.

The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, and the showers are clean. The staff are awesome, and the price is fair. The TVs are big and nice, but the channel service is subpar and still on the old coax system. Apart from that, the hotel is top notch.

From the outside, the place doesn't look like much, but the rooms surprised me. They feel like somewhere that could cost $200 or more a night, even though this is budget lodging. I liked the walk-in shower, and was glad there were no tubs. The front desk staff were very nice and made me feel welcome. It's a small property, so it never felt crowded, and they even include breakfast, which I didn't expect. I'd recommend it if you're looking for an affordable place to stay.

The place is a total mess. The lobby is crowded with piles of stock items, there's no elevator, and dust is piled up across both the first and ground floors. Two cleaners come in the morning, but you have to tell the receptionist ahead of time or they won't clean your room. The bathroom's sliding door has no lock, and there's no ventilation, so the stale air really gets to you. There's only an ice machine for drinking water, so bring your own. They advertise continental breakfast, but expect four apples, a half-empty coffee pot, and orange-colored juice made from flavored powder. Don't pick it just for the price.
