The staff were kind and seemed to want to help, but the rooms weren't cleaned unless you requested it. No one told me that, and there was no notice in the room explaining it. I also missed the breakfast buffet I usually expect at a Marriott. My room was dim, a little shabby, and had cheap pillows and towels. At about $133 a night, the price was reasonable, but I expected more from the Marriott name. After more than three decades of choosing Marriott first, this stay and another Marriott earlier this year have made me feel the brand can no longer be counted on for a comfortable, nice visit. This place felt more like a lower-tier motel, and I don't think the staff had been trained to the customer service standard Marriott used to have.

They kindly let me check out at 2PM, which I appreciated. Check-in was quick, and the guy helping me was friendly, answered my questions, and got things done fast. He was the only person running the hotel, even though it was sold out and the elevator was out of order. I felt for him. It was a good stay for me.

I found a dead roach in the tub, and the carpet was filthy. There's no microwave in the room, and the price is way too high. The staff seemed lazy, and when I reported the problems, all they offered was free water and a snack. I'm not coming back. Save your money.

The beds were comfortable and the hotel was quiet, so I had a really nice three-night stay. Just avoid a room below the top floor if you can, since you may hear heavy footsteps overhead. Samira is one of the best Marriott employees I've ever met.

I found the hotel relaxing while I was in town for the bar exam. There's a nice courtyard and a full gym, with decent amenities overall, but no pool. Across the street, the gas station has a store open 24 hours for snacks and drinks. There's also an ice cream shop an easy walk away, which was great.
