The location was perfect and the wildlife was amazing, but those things didn't make up for the cabin. We stayed in Mustang for three nights, and when we settled in for the night we found dog hair and other hair all over bedding that wasn't clean. We ended up buying bedding at Wal-mart for the rest of the stay. Half the blinds were broken throughout, and the shower needs a major redo. These cabins need some care and freshening up, plus a new cleaning staff.

Quail cabin was filthy when I arrived. I asked at the office if there was a cleaning service, and they said no, that cleaning it was the job of whoever had stayed before me. The bed had several nasty stains and there were no clean linens or duvet cover. The shower was disgusting, the tub had awful stains, and the caulking along its bottom was black, like mold. Tiles near the shower head were coming off, as if the wall was coming apart. The floors were buckling, suggesting water damage that hadn't been fixed. The whole experience was bad. I wouldn't recommend staying here. Please research these cabins before booking.

The scenery is wonderful, and the location alone earns five stars from me. The cabins are older, but they're in great shape. I'll definitely return to Riudoso!

The cabins are nice and close enough to walk downtown and see the sights. I had a couple of problems with Raccoon Cabin: the bathroom was too small, and there was pet hair everywhere, as though it hadn't been cleaned.

There was dog hair everywhere, dirty sheets, towels left on the floor, and dishes that hadn't been washed. We were told the previous guest was supposed to clean the place. It's filthy and needs to be inspected if they want to keep it open. I'll definitely be making some calls.
