Bri at the front desk was kind, understanding and helpful. We stayed one night and got a refund for the second. We forgot something in the room and came back later the same day we checked out, only to find they’d rented that very room to someone else despite knowing about the problems. We couldn’t believe it. The owners need to do real maintenance and upgrades. The pictures don’t match what to expect. The place is outdated, and guests are responsible for washing dishes. I wasn’t convinced the previous guests had cleaned them properly, so I washed them myself. The tub drain was clogged and flooded the bathroom when I showered. There’s no built-in heater, only space heaters. The floors and couches had hair and weren’t clean. The stovetop didn’t work at all, and the breaker tripped for some reason, maybe because of the heaters. With all those issues, we left the next day.

I was thankful to have somewhere to sleep, but the place needs a deep cleaning and a lot of updates. It doesn’t seem they offer full room service. Guests are expected to clean up after themselves, but you can see that they don’t. The stove, fridge, freezer and bathroom tub were dirty. I bet this place was a gem 20 years ago, but it needs major updates now. The big room next to the office smelled strongly of gas.

The staff were responsive and nice, which was the only positive. I was moved to a different room after other problems came up, and I appreciated that, but the second room had its own issues too. I stayed in two rooms in two different buildings, and both had too many problems. The carpet was filthy and triggered my allergies. There were stains, and you could see different hairs and fur on the sofas. There was a no-pets sign, but staff and some guests had dogs. The furniture and faucets were old and dirty, and really everything felt dirty. An electrical outlet near the TV didn’t work, so they brought us an extension cord. We were downstairs in the second room and could hear the noisy people above us constantly. The ceilings and floors aren’t soundproof. Children running and jumping, footsteps, and even people talking could all be heard, as late as 1am and as early as 4am. None of us had a peaceful day or night, and my whole family was sad and frustrated. I told the manager, who said she’d call upstairs and ask them to be considerate and tell their kids there were guests below. It didn’t help. The advertised sofa bed got stuck and wouldn’t work, and the advertised outdoor jacuzzi wasn’t working either. It was a really disappointing experience. The rooms are too outdated and too pricey for what’s offered. I’ll never stay there again.
