The check-in was a little confusing for me since I arrived first and hadn't made the reservation, so I didn't know where to go. The office was about half a mile away. We had six people in a nice two-bedroom cabin, though, in a quiet spot among cabins with festive lights in the forest trees.

The deer were wonderful, coming right up close, and we had a great time exploring nature. After skiing, shopping, and tubing, it was lovely to unwind in our private hot tub at night. The roomy cabin fit all seven of us, the baby, and our dog, and it had tons of amenities. It's close to town, too. We really enjoyed our first stay and will absolutely come back. This may become our annual getaway.

We had room for three couples, an infant, and a big dog in the three-bedroom cabin, with plenty of living space. It was clean, comfortable, and more than adequate. The deck and hot tub were nice, and the deer eventually came right up onto the deck after discovering they liked the tortillas we fed them. The staff were very nice and accommodating. Rates were reasonable, and the pet fee was just $25 per stay. Our first time at Whispering Pines was a good one, and we hope to return soon. Thanks for a great place to stay and enjoy the mountains!

We had a wonderful family stay over Memorial Day weekend, and the cabin worked well for all 10 of us. Seeing so many deer was lovely, and the private hot tub at the back of the cabin was our favorite part. The den having no door wasn't a problem for us, though I'd suggest adding a door between the den and the other room, and another between that room and the living area.
